Testing for the microbes in the Remedy pro-biotic formulas are performed monthly and have been for the past 16 years with a leading University microbiology laboratory. They are submitted for total bacterial counts and diversity checks. The University biologists report “typically, samples contain about 1- 10X10⁶ bacteria per ml and about 8-10 different genera. All organisms have come from healthy organic fertile soils. No pathogens are found and there are no genetically engineered organisms”.​

Bacterial samples are plated on Tryptic Soy Agar or Nutrient Agar and grown overnight at 30°C and 37°C.
